Joy and Kindness

Happy Holiday Season – we hope you are having a joy-filled month as well!

Our team always looks forward to this time of year; it’s when we gather the whole family together and spend time with those we love. And as it’s Summer here in Australia, we will be spending our holidays on the coast.

Our theme for this month is Joy and Kindness. While it’s the time of year when many of us experience the joys of home and family, we should all keep in mind that many of our fellow citizens are less fortunate than us, monetarily and even emotionally. So take some time to spread the cheer by being kind to someone who needs it this month. It would be magical if we could all keep up the kindness and joy throughout the year!

Some of our team have just returned from Robin Sharma’s Titans Summit 2018 in Canada, and from all reports it was an amazing experience!  If you’d like to learn more about what we learned at Titans, follow us on Social Media (use the links at the bottom of this email).

We’ll also be sharing some of the fun things we do on a regular basis – as well as specific content about saving money over the holidays.

New Learning Opportunities

Our learning programs will return in February 2019.  Until them, focus on yourself, family, friends, and having a bit of fun….  and preparing yourself for 2019.

Book Review

The 5AM Club  by Robin Sharma

As longtime followers of Robin’s work, we were excited to read this book. Four years in the making, it explores how to implement the strategies to create the life that you want.

The 5AM Club is about setting your day up to win, starting your day early to fill your cup so you can go out into the world and serve others. Robin shares particular protocols that, when followed, will elevate your life and help you move towards achieving what you want out of life.

This book is told in a similar style to The Monk Who Sold His Ferrari, which makes it easy to read. Robin shares some great models to help you embed each practice.

We loved this book and highly recommend it if you are looking to achieve more in your life. It’s an awesome Christmas present for anyone you know who might be a little bit stuck!

Happy Holidays!

Taking breaks are a great way of slowing down, reflecting on what is truly important and a great outcome of taking breaks is that you become more creative and innovative.

Remember that instead of rushing through December, focus on noticing things to be joyful about – and practice kindness. Start with self-kindness;  take some time (even if it is only 10 minutes) to look after yourself each day. This will help make every day so much nicer.

We wishing you all a happy and safe holiday season and look forward to seeing you all in the New Year.

From all of us here at Magical Learning.

Kindness is a gift everyone can afford to give.
